Cheryl Kim is an elementary teacher from California currently residing in Thailand with her husband and two sons. She is the author of WAT TAKES HIS SHOT: The Life and Legacy of Wataru Misaka (Lee and Low, June 2024). She is also a writer for Capstone’s Sports Illustrated for Kids Stars of Sports and Passport to the World series and Kane Press’ Eureka! Biography of an Idea series. When she’s not writing about people, places, and things, she enjoys travelling, tea-drinking, and teaching K-5 art at Grace International School in Chiang Mai.
She is a member of KidLit Works, SCBWI, and 12X12.
